The Dance for Life Feis Weekend was featured at a “Destination Feis” in the Irish Dance Magazine. There are so many wonderful things to explore once you are done with your dancing. Below are some links to get your planning started. All of these make great spots to visit on a summer trip to Western Washington. It is honestly the best time of year to visit our area as well. We live in such a naturally diverse area.
North Cascades National Park: https://www.nps.gov/ noca/index.htm It is about 3 hours from Olympia. Diablo Lake is well known for its stunning blue water.
Mount Rainer National Park: https://www.nps.gov/ mora/index.htm It is about a 2 hour drive from Olympia. Advanced registration is required to visit.
Olympic National Park: https://www.nps.gov/ olym/index.htm It is around 2-3 hours to visit from Olympia.
Leavenworth, WA. Our very own Bavarian Village: https://leavenworth. org/ It is less than 3 hours from Olympia to Leavenworth
Ocean Shores, WA: https://www.osgov.com/ Visit the Pacific Ocean! It is about an hour and a half away from Olympia.
